Well yes, that's the point. Burry had his success early and was not notable before that. Zitron has been outputting a continuous stream of bearish sentiment that hasn't come to fruition, from the moment anyone recognized the name.
And even then, people are starting to notice that Burry's gone a while without a noticeable success.
Yeah, I think this is the key point. I am better at handling chaos because I grew up around chaos (my mom has adhd and so do I) so I am much better at handling things falling apart.
My understanding is that collusion among competitors is illegal (although I’m not a lawyer). I was referring instead to the prisoner’s dilemma that Bruce Greenwald discusses in Competition Demystified. In theory, competitors, like prisoners who are pitted against one another to rat on one another, are usually better off cooperating rather than turning against each other.
