2 free browser games, nothing to sell, looking for feedback.

Chronos 1 is a terminal escape room, through the history of computer, from Unix V6 to modern Linux and known exploits.

Chronos 2 is a chase across real cyberwarfare, the 2016 Bangladesh bank heist, Moonlignt Maze, the Ukraine grid attack, Stuxnet and plenty more.

I spent about 2 months writing Chronos 2, looking for feedback, especially dialing the difficulty and the hint level.

feedback: making the editor "ed" pia is a deliberate choice - and a dealbreaker for me. Tickle my brain, don't make me figure out arcane edit schemas. vi, emacs, etc. just make this doable.

No vi or emacs in 1977 unix, ed was the editor and you don't raelly need to know it: man ed give you the syntax and ed lockd.c spells out the solution for you. You don't need any sort of knowledge beside whats in the game just poke at stuff, did you see the line in ed lockd.c, if not it's not landing, it's worth knowing. But feedback is feedback so I'll take it
